I’m excited to share my CFI bio and training information with you!
About Me
My name is Desiree, and I’m a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI) based in Vero Beach (KVRB) and Valkaria (X59). I grew up in Staten Island, NY, and earned a BA in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Pittsburgh. After college, I worked at Walt Disney World for a year before starting my career in aviation.
My first aviation role was with JetBlue, where I served as a Flight Attendant for six years. In May 2022, I began my flight training at Aviator College in Fort Pierce, FL, earning my Private Pilot Single and Multi, Instrument, and Commercial Single and Multi ratings. In May 2024, I advanced my training at Blue Line Aviation in Winter Haven, FL, completing my CFI, CFII, and MEI certifications.
Looking ahead, I plan to pursue additional endorsements and ratings, including tailwheel, high-performance, seaplane, and aerobatic training. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cuisines, and staying active at the gym.
I look forward to meeting new students and sharing my passion for aviation with you!

- Piper Cherokee, Warrior, Archer, Seminole, and Seneca
- Cessna 150, 152, and 172
- Diamond DA20 and DA40
Here’s an updated breakdown of aircraft rental and instruction costs:
- PA-28-161 Warrior: $150/hour (Based at X59 Valkaria- currently down for paint)
- Cessna 172: $160/hour (Based at X59 Valkaria)
- Diamond Aircraft: $165/hour (Based at X59 Valkaria)
- PA-28-140: Rental cost verification pending (Based at KSUA Stuart)
- Redbird MCX with 6-pack or G1000 avionics: Rental cost TBD after discussion
- Aircraft rental can be paid via credit/debit, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App.
- Instruction fees can be paid using all methods except credit/debit.
- Training out of Valkaria offers the best value since you’ll only pay for actual flight time.
- If needed, I can relocate the aircraft to your location. However, relocation costs (Hobbs time) will be your responsibility.

Our school has several light sport Bristell aircraft, a recently added twin engine Beechcraft for Multi-training and a Redbird on site.
I am available at Sebring Flight Academy for Sport Pilot Training part time, and has three full time CFIs and several more part time. The school uses Flight Schedule Pro to book flight lessons.

Originally from New Orleans, I moved here for the amazing opportunities in aviation and the beautiful views! I love helping students achieve their aviation dreams while exploring new destinations together. My schedule is fairly open—I fly every day and am currently accepting new students!
